$10,200 No-Limit Hold'em Event Offers Turbo Structure and Chance at a Trophy

Tournament Room

As the 2024 European Poker Tour Cyprus draws to a close, there's still plenty happening for players of all skill and bankroll levels at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa. One of the final high roller tournaments on the schedule is the $10,200 NLHE event, which features a turbo structure and is expected to attract a small field of the best players in the game for one last shot at victory.

This is the first time this event has been added to the offerings at EPT Cyprus and so someone is set to become the inaugural champion by the time play draws to a close on Day 2.

In the 2024 EPT Barcelona version, Erik Bauer of Slovakia topped a field of 48 players to claim the top prize of €151,400.

The EPT Cyprus $10,200 No-Limit Hold'em will have 30-minute blinds, with ten levels played out on Day 1 and a 15-minute break scheduled after Level 4 and Level 7.

Players start with 100,000 starting stacks and blinds kick off at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. Stacks will be 100 big blinds deep as the tournament begins, so despite the fast blinds there's plenty of chance to play some poker.

A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the tournament, giving players 15-seconds to act on their first decision and 30-seconds for each decision thereafter. Each player starts with four time bank cards that are topped up as the event progresses.

Day 1 starts at 6 p.m. local time. Late registration remains open until the start of Day 2, which commences at noon local time on Sunday.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for live updates straight from the tournament floor.
