Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Eero Rantala
Eero Rantala

Stephen Song raised his small blind to 65,000. and was called by big blind Eero Rantala. Song continued for 90,000 on the 6AQ flop and was once again called.

On the 8 turn, Song sized up to 190,000. Another call followed from Rantala, after which the K river completed the board.

Song used one of his time extensions before shoving all in, covering Rantala's stack of 570,000. Rantala spent some time in the tank himself but ended up making the call for his tournament life.

Song turned over A10 for top pair. Defeated, Rantala flipped up his A9 for the same pair but with a lower kicker.

The Finnish player dejectedly headed to the exit while Song stacked up more chips to climb above the three-million mark.
