Chung Cracks Teltscher's Aces With Quads to Mark End of Day 4

Timothy Chung raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and was three-bet to 180,000 by Mark Teltscher in the small blind. Chung then put Teltscher all in for his remaining 675,000 and was snap-called.

Teltscher was in a good spot to double up, but the K♣8♦4♦ flop immediately brought bad news for the 2005 EPT London champion.

It was all over after the 8♥ turn made Chung four of a kind, and Teltscher shook hands with his former tablemates before being the final player to depart on Day 4 as the 6♣ river completed the board.

After losing that massive pot to David Coleman a few minutes ago, Jonathan Elfa Sanvicens was all in for his small blind. The table folded around to him and he was at risk against Gabriel Cunha in the big blind.

Coleman Leaves Sanvicens With Crumbs After Massive Double Up

David Coleman raised to 50,000 in early position and got called by Nick Palma before Jonathan Elfa Sanvicens three-bet to 175,000 from the small blind. Both opponents called and a significant pot was already building.

The flop came 9♣3♦2♠ and after a check from Sanvicens, Coleman bet 150,000. Palma folded, but Sanvicens came back with a check-raise to 450,000.

Coleman called and on the turn 6♥, Sanvicens immediately moved all in, slightly covering Coleman's remaining 835,000.

The high-stakes American crusher snap-called and only had to fade two outs.

The river was the 2♥ and after the stacks were counted down it was confirmed that Coleman's winning set had left Sanvicens with just 85,000 chips.

David Coleman opened to 40,000 from early position and Jonathan Elfa Sanvicens called on the button. Jan Eric Schwippert also called from the small blind, as did Gabriel Cunha from the big blind.

On the K♣2♥10♥ flop, it checked to Coleman who made a bet of 45,000. Sinvicens made it 120,000, then Schwippert shoved for 740,000. Cunha and Coleman folded, then Sinvicens made the call after he used some extra time.

Both had flopped huge, but it was Sanvicens who held the lead with his two pair, though he had a lot of outs to fade as Schwippert had a flush draw plus two-pair outs.

The 9♦ turn added a gutshot to Schippert's plethora of outs, but the 4♠ river wasn't what he was looking for, which meant he was eliminated moments before the dinner break.

There were already around 350,000 chips in the pot on a board of K♣4♥7♥Q♥ when Yurii Zabrodotskyi bet 110,000. Nolan Madene was the only other played in the pot and he called.

The 10♦ completed the board on the river and Zabrodotskyi shoved, which left Madene with the decision for his stack of around 400,000. Madene used some extra time as he tried to piece together the puzzle, and eventually settled on a call.

Zabrodotskyi showed 5♥3♥ for a turned flush and Madene flipped A♥J♣ for a rivered straight with the nut-flush blocker, which meant the Frenchman was eliminated.

Rantala Out After Flopping Top Pair

Stephen Song raised his small blind to 65,000. and was called by big blind Eero Rantala. Song continued for 90,000 on the 6♠A♦Q♥ flop and was once again called.

On the 8♦ turn, Song sized up to 190,000. Another call followed from Rantala, after which the K♣ river completed the board.

Song used one of his time extensions before shoving all in, covering Rantala's stack of 570,000. Rantala spent some time in the tank himself but ended up making the call for his tournament life.

Song turned over A♠10♦ for top pair. Defeated, Rantala flipped up his A♣9♥ for the same pair but with a lower kicker.

The Finnish player dejectedly headed to the exit while Song stacked up more chips to climb above the three-million mark.
