Wolfgang Poker Flops the Nuts

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alexander Seibt
Alexander Seibt

Henrik Juncker opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Alexander "Wolfgang Poker" Seibt called from the hijack. Firoz Mangroe took his time in making the call ahead of Antoine Vranken defending his big blind.

Juncker continued for 8,000 on the K87 flop. Seibt and Mangroe stuck around while Vranken opted to release his hand.

The Q came in on the turn, and Juncker moved all in for 53,500. Seibt began to think over his options, lifting his mudkip card protector to recheck his hole cards. He asked to see Mangroe's stack, which he narrowly covered and then moved all in for around 120,000. Mangro folded and the cards were tabled.

Henrik Juncker: 88All in
Alexander Seibt: AQ

Juncker wanted the board to pair while Seibt requested a drama-free river. The dealer answered with the 4 river, locking up the nice sized pot for the vlogger.

"That is so good for poker," said Seibt as he took his stack to the 200,000 mark.

Allan Barnes raised to 5,500 from late position. Erik Seidel called from the button and Alex Keating defended his big blind.

The action checked to Seidel on the 758 flop and he bet 8,000. Keating folded, but Barnes called.

Barnes check-called another bet from Seidel on the 8 turn, this time for 15,000.

Both players checked the 5 river and Barnes turned over A9. Seidel had that beat with JJ for a pair of jacks and took down the pot

Kiani Flops the Goods to Win Massive Three-Way All In

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Kian Kiani
Kian Kiani

Kian Kiani, Mounir Tajiou, and Ian Bradley went to a flop of Q108 where Kiani got in his last 183,000 from the cutoff, Tajiou put in his last 120,000 from early position, and Bradley put both players at risk. A large crowd began to gather around the table as the cards were revealed.

Mounir Tajiou: AA All in
Kian Kiani: J9 All in
Ian Bradley: KQ

Kiani had flopped the nut straight, while Bradley had top pair and a flush draw and Tajiou had aces. The J turn also gave Bradley his own straight draw, but he missed on the 5 river as Kiani scooped the entire pot, sending Tajiou to the rail and earning a massive double up off Bradley.

"I missed a flight to come here. I came to this tournament six hours late," Kiani said.

Big Stacks Kanme and Ullereng Battle Preflop

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Raoul Kanme
Raoul Kanme

Following an early position raise to 4,000, Raoul Kanme three-bet to 14,000 from the hijack. Action folded to Mats Ullereng in the small blind who cold four-bet to 44,000.

This shed the original raiser, but Kanme wasn't done yet as he five-bet it to 89,000.

The duo had each started the hand with over 300,000 chips and were threatening to play a monster-sized pot.

Ullereng went into the tank for a couple of minutes before sliding his cards back to the dealer with a "nice bluff" directed at Kanme.

Kanme shook his head slightly as he exchanged his cards for the pot, putting him over 400,000 chips.

Joao Sydenstricker
Joao Sydenstricker

Around 60,000 was already in the pot as Joao Sydenstricker and Matthew Gillingham went to the river on a board of J74AK. Sydenstricker then moved all in from the button.

Gillingham tanked for a moment before calling in the big blind with J4 for two pair. Sydenstricker flashed a pair of eights as he sent them into the muck. The stacks were counted down and Gillingham had 120,000 remaining. Sydenstricker was barely covered and last year's runner-up was sent to the rail.

Wolfgang Poker Having Another Crack at the EPT Main Event

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Wolfgang Poker at EPT Monte Carlo
Wolfgang Poker at EPT Monte Carlo

Back in May, YouTube sensation Alex "Wolfgang Poker" Seibt journeyed to the EPT for the first time, taking a shot in the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event. The decision paid off as Seibt put in a deep run, bowing out in a very respectable 18th place for €35,100 ($37,536).

He's decided to have another pop at EPT Main Event glory, being one of the dozens of Day 2 entrants here in Barcelona. Seibt nursed a short stack for some time before being able to add enough chips to get out of shove or fold territory, and he was looking to rake in some more pots in hopes of emulating his performance from a few months ago.

Yanis Avanesyan opened to 4,500, and Seibt defended his big blind.

Seibt check-called for 4,000 on the Q53 flop before the 4 turn checked through to the 3 river. Seibt led out for 15,500, which appeared to frustrate Avanesyan. The latter ended up making the call anyway.

Seibt tabled A2 for a wheel, and Avanesyan began muttering under his breath as he mucked his cards.

Seibt could only shrug his shoulders as he took in a chip stack boosting pot.

Malcolm Franchi

Paawan Bansal opened to 4,000 from under the gun, and then four-bet jammed as the bigger stack after Adrian Martin made it 13,000 from the cutoff. Martin called off the 60,000 more he had behind and the cards were tabled.

It was the ultimate cooler and Martin left Bansal drawing to runner-runner after making top set on the A38 flop. The 7 turn locked up his double up ahead of the 4 river.

Malcolm Franchi is also at the table and he has a mountainous chip tower in front of him. He's not far off from reaching the 600,000 mark and is the biggest stack in the room as it stands.

Jin Hits the River to Bust Mosele

Bo Jin

Paul Di Meglio raised to 3,000 under the gun before Massimo Mosele three-bet to 11,000 in middle position. Bo Jin four-bet to 20,000 on the button, Di Meglio folded, while Mosele called to see the A10J flop.

Both players checked to the J turn, where Mosele moved all in for 59,500. Jin tanked for several minutes into the break before calling. Mosele showed AK for two pair and was ahead as Jin turned over QQ.

The K fell on the river to give Mosele a higher two pair, but Jin spiked a straight as Mosele stormed out of his seat and began muttering to himself as the big pot was pushed over to Jin.

"He's putting a spell on you," tablemate Steven Jones joked with Jin.
