Mike Watson opened from under the gun to 5,500. Action folded around to Sam Greenwood who called on the button. Thomas Santerne defended the big blind.
The 7♠K♣6♠ flop was checked around. Another round of knuckles ensued on the A♣ turn and the same again on the 8♣ river. Santerne tabled 8♠3♠ for a pair and missed flush draw. However it was Watson's holding of 9♣9♦ that was good enough to take the pot. Greenwood mucked his holding.
