How Many Kings Are in the Deck?
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jon Kyte raised to 50,000 under the gun before Ludovic Periaux moved all in for 160,000 in the hijack. Tanner Lefferts also put in his last 90,000 in the big blind and Kyte called to put both players at risk.
Tanner Lefferts: K♠5♠
Ludovic Periaux: A♦J♣
Jon Kyte: K♣Q♥
The flop came Q♣6♠3♠ to give Kyte top pair, while Lefferts picked up a flush draw. The 10♥ turn gave Periaux a straight draw, and he hit one of the last kings in the deck on the K♥ river to secure the double up off Kyte and send Lefferts to the rail.
"How a king? How many kings are there?" Kyte wondered as he paid off Periaux.
"Check how many kings there are. Three?" he joked with the dealer after the hand.
