Welcome to Day 2 of the €10,300 EPT High Roller here at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona stop. Cards are scheduled to be in the air at 12:30. p.m. local time. Of the 386 runners that came to Casino Barcelona yesterday, just 156 advanced to Day 2. However, registration is still open through to the start of play today, so the prize pool information is yet to be known.

Canada's Sam Greenwood holds the chip lead going into the day after he accumulated 405,000. The high-stakes crusher has amassed over $35 million in career tournament earnings as he looks to build upon this total.

However, he is far from the only notable player to return to the felt today. Several PokerStars ambassadors still remain, including Sam Grafton (258,500), Benjamin Spragg (155,000), and Alejandro Lococo (75,500).

Last year's champion Ka Kwan Lau was unfortunate to have not found a bag for Day 2. The same can be said for 2023 sixth-place finisher Alexandre Reard. However, both of these players have the opportunity to re-enter before the start of play today.

Play resumes at 12:30 p.m. local time today in Level 11 with blinds at 1,000/1,500 with a 1,500 big blind ante. Registration closes at the start of play today and levels will be 50 minutes in length. 12 levels are on the docket today.
