Ko Puts a Beat on Barsegyan to Burst the Money Bubble

Dongwoo Ko opened to 40,000 from early position and Eduard Barsegyan shoved for his last 300,000 from the hijack. Action folded back around to Ko, who quickly stuck in a call to put Barsegyan at risk.

Barsegyan was in great shape to double up with big slick, but the 5♠Q♣7♠ flop left Barsegyan reverse-dominated and drawing thin.

The 3♣ turn and A♦ river changed nothing and Barsegyan was eliminated on the stone money bubble.

The seven remaining players are now guaranteed a payday of at least €24,400.

Action folded around to the blinds, where Vladas Tamasauskas shoved for a bit under 300,000 from the small blind. Dongwoo Ko quickly called from the big blind and hands were revealed.

The 3♦K♥7♠ flop put Tamasauskas into the lead with a pair of kings and the K♦ turn further improved Tamasauskas to trips while also gaving Ko a flush draw.

The 6♦ river improved Ko for a runner-runner flush and Tamasauskas was eliminated to set up the money bubble.

Jeremie Zouari opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and James Collopy defended from the big blind.

They both saw a flop of Q♠2♣9♣ which Collopy checked, Zouari bet 15,000, Collopy raised to 50,000, and Zouari called.

The turn brought a J♣ and Collopy fired 65,000, which Zouari called.

When the 9♠ completed the board, Collopy shoved, which put Zouari to the test for his remaining stack of around 230,000. After using three time bank chips, Zouari decided to fold and flashed the Q♥ to the table as he did so.

Both players checked on the 8♦7♦J♥ flop and then Ko called a 35,00 bet from Habayeb after the 2♥ fell on the turn.

The 8♣ completed the board and Habayeb bet 70,000. Ko announced a raise to 170,000 and Habayeb laid his hand down to send the pot Ko's way.

On the flop of 6♦5♥A♦, Zouari check-called a bet of 35,000 from Habayeb.

The J♥ turn was checked through to the A♠ river where Zouari shoved. Habayeb had around 265,00 remaining in his stack and used four time bank cards before he eventually tossed in the call.

Zouari showed K♦9♦ for a busted flush draw, and Habayeb tabled K♥J♦ for a pair of jacks and scooped the pot.
