Dubini's Aces Best in Multi-Way Pot
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Richard Dubini opened to 2,500 from middle position and was called by Alexandru Budai in the cutoff, Jeevan Lobo in the small blind, and Yves Thalmann in the big blind for a four-way pot.
Action checked through on the J♥4♠5♠ flop and then Lobo led out for 4,000 on the K♥ turn. Thalmann folded, but Dubini raised to 10,500. Budai tanked a bit before deciding to cold-call and Lobo got out of the way.
Both players checked after the 10♥ completed the board and Dubini tabled A♥A♠. Budai couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Dubini.
