Farias Gets Chips From A Stone
Level 10
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Ignacio Sanz min-raised to 2,400 from under the gun and Diego Beirigo called from the next seat. Herbert Farias then squeezed to 9,000 before Jacob Stone four-bet to 25,600 from the small blind. Sanz and Beirigo both folded, and Farias shoved. Stone had around 6,000 chips behind and put them all into the pot which left him at risk.
Jacob Stone: A♦K♦
Herbert Farias: A♣A♠
Unfortunate timing for Stone as his Big Slick was a big underdog against the pocket aces of Farias. Despite pairing his king on the K♣Q♠7♣ flop, Stone couldn't improve further as neither the 4♥ turn nor 3♦ river could keep his tournament life alive.
