Marle Spragg
Marle Spragg

Adrien Guyon raised to 50,000 from the button, then Marle Spragg three-bet to 200,000 from the small blind. In the big blind, Andreas Berggren shoved for his last 70,000, and Guyon called Spragg's raise.

Spragg and Guyon checked on the 9103 flop. But on the turn K, Spragg bet 235,000. Guyon seemed unhappy to fold, but he gave his cards to the dealer.

Andreas Berggren: 77
Marle Spragg: QJ

"I have the nuts" said Spragg when she turned over her cards. So there was no hope for Berggren, who was eliminated after the river A in 37th place for €21,000.

Eljach Slowrolled to the Rail...by Himself

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Omar Eljach
Omar Eljach

Cesar Garcia raised to 40,000 in early position and Omar Eljach called in the big blind.

The flop came A22 and Garcia bet 20,000. Eljach called and both players checked the J turn.

The river was the J and Eljach bet 160,000, leaving himself 20,000 behind. Garcia quickly folded.

The next hand, Niall Farrell raised to 40,000 in the hijack before Eljach moved all in for 340,000 in the small blind. Farrell used a time bank before calling.

Omar Eljach: 88
Niall Farrell: A9

"Let it snow, let it snow," Eljach began singing as he turned over a pair of eights. The flop came 375 and Farrell picked up the nut flush draw.

"Easy dodge," Eljach said as the 2 fell on the turn. The river was the 4 and Eljach began celebrating his double up until the table pointed out that Farrell had made a straight.

"Really? No dodge. I slowrolled myself," Eljach said on his way to the rail.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Romain Retiere
Romain Retiere

Jon Kyte made a raise to 45,000 from under the gun before Romain Retiere jammed 235,000 chips in from the hijack for an all-in bet.

The action folded back to Kyte, who asked how much it was. When Retiere answered that it was around 11 big blinds, Kyte responded: "If it's 11 big blinds I am not going to nit-roll you."

He indeed made the call after the count was confirmed, and the cards went on their backs.

Romain Retiere: AK
Jon Kyte: 88

"Oh, some outs," Retiere uttered when 104J was flopped. However, neither the 6 turn or 4 river brought one of them, and Kyte's pair of eights won the flip to eliminate the Frenchman in 40th place.

Tzinis' Luck Runs Out as Wagner Picks Up Aces

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Konstantinos Tzinis
Konstantinos Tzinis

Konstantinos Tzinis raised to 30,000 in the cutoff before Adam Wagner moved all in from the small blind. Tzinis called for his last 450,000 once action got back to him.

Konstantinos Tzinis: AQ
Adam Wagner: AA

While this hand was taking place, tablemate Niall Farrell suggested the shot clocks should be replaced by hourglasses. Maria Lampropulos then pointed out the problem with that idea.

"It was a good idea," Omar Eljach added.

"I didn't think through the mechanics of it," Farrell replied.

The board ran out 46337 and Wagner's aces sent Tzinis off to the payout desk. Farrell, meanwhile, was still talking about his hourglass idea.

"Imagine you're in a big pot and you're just watching the grains of sand run down. The sands of time have spoken," he said.
