O'Neill Picks Off Kyte on the River

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

"Very lucky river. If I bet small I call, but not with an overbet," Jon Kyte said, still discussing his prior hand with Adam Wagner as he raised to 110,000 under the gun.

"Showed me a lot of respect," Wagner replied.

Padraig O'Neill called in the big blind and they went heads-up to the 7410 flop. Kyte then bet 75,000 and O'Neill called.

The turn was the K and Kyte bet 150,000. O'Neill again called and the J fell on the river. Kyte then bet 450,000.

O'Neill called and Kyte showed A9 for ace-high. O'Neill had 98 for the rivered straight to win the pot.

"You both get lucky on the river. I thought I was the one to get lucky," Kyte said after the hand.
