Varszegi Doesn't Make It to Break

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The other tables were already headed off on break as Tamas Varszegi, Frederik Thiemer, and Eero Rantala went to a flop of 6A3.

Varszegi bet 5,000 from the big blind before Rantala raised to 11,000 in middle position. Thiemer called in the hijack before Varszegi moved all in for 30,000.

Rantala folded, but Thiemer tanked for a moment before calling.

Tamas Varszegi: Q10
Frederik Thiemer: AJ

Thiemer was ahead with his pair of aces, while Varszegi had a flush draw. The board ran out 89 and Varszegi missed his draw to ensure he won't be coming back from the break.
