Strobel Makes a Big Hero Call

Strobel check-called a bet of 4,000 from Skarstedt on a flop of 9♦K♣Q♣.

The 5♠ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Skarstedt sized up to 15,000.

The 3♥ river saw Strobel check again. Skarstedt moved all in for Strobel's effective stack of 57,500, sending Strobel into the tank.

Strobel thought for so long the clock was eventually called. The tournament director counted down his final five seconds before Strobel decided to make the call.
