Danchev Makes Running Two Pair; Kobayashi Shows an Ace

Level 2 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In a limped pot between the blinds, Dimitar Danchev and Niklas Astedt checked to the turn on a board of KQ54. Astedt then bet 3,000 and Danchev called.

The river was the 10 and Danchev checked. Astedt also checked back and Danchev showed 104 for two pair to win the pot.

The next hand, Tsugunari Toma raised to 2,500 and Astedt called in the small blind, as did big blind Hirokazu Kobayashi.

"Sandwiched between Japan," Astedt said as the flop came Q9A. Toma continued for 4,000 and only Kobayashi called.

Both players checked down the 3 turn and 5 river and Kobayashi turned over A6 for a pair of aces to win the pot.
