Mouawad Roots to Bad Beat Olofsson

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Attila Zab opened to 3,000 from the hijack, Joseph Mouawad three-bet to 13,500 from the cutoff and Stefan Olofsson moved all in for 45,000 from the button. Zab folded and Mouawad went into the tank.

"Aces again?" he asked before finally making the call.

Stefan Olofsson: AK
Joseph Mouawad: AK

What was overwhelmingly likely to be a chopped pot soon went astray as the first four cards came 5QJ6. With three spades on board, Mouawad now had an ace-high flush draw. "Just one more!" Mouawad politely asked. But the river landed the 9 and both players seemed happy enough to chop the pot.

Giuliano Wins Coin Flip

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Silvio Giuliano raised to 3,000 from middle position before Stefan Burch made it 8,000 to go from the cutoff. Nicola Grieco smooth-called from the small blind and Giuliano shoved all in for 63,000 once the action was back on him.

Burch quickly got out of the way but Grieco made the call with the covering stack.

Silvio Giuliano: A9
Nicola Grieco: 44

"A coin flip," stated Grieco while tabling their cards.

It was indeed a flip, and one he would lose when Giuliano made the superior hand on the 91038K runout. Giuliano doubled up while Grieco still had more than 40 bigs to play with.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Aliaksei Boika
Aliaksei Boika

Aliaksei Boika opened to 3,000 from middle position, receiving a call from Artur Wasek, on the button.

Boika continued for 3,500 on the 98K flop. Wasek chose to see a turn.

The J fell and Boika bet out again, this time for 7,000. Wasek was undettered.

The river landed the 10 and Boika bet 35,000; an effective all-in with just 500 behind. Wasek snap-called. Boika tabled A7 for the nut flush, while Wasek folded the Q face up.

Wasek could be seen leaving the tournament floor shortly afterwards.

Tamasauskas Wins Flip to Double Stack

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Vincas Tamasauskas was all in preflop against Patrik Zidek, who had him covered as players flipped their cards.

Vincas Tamasauskas: 99
Patrik Zidek: AQ

The board ran out 58546. Zidek picked up a flush draw on the flop along with his overcards. He blanked the turn and river though, leaving Tamasauskas to scoop the pot with two pair, his pocket nines and the fives on board.
