Sam Grafton

Hand One:

Sam Grafton opened to 3,500 from under the gun, Ersin Sancak, to Grafton's direct left, three-bet to 9,500 and Grafton called.

Grafton checked at the sight of the J85 flop. Sancak bet out 10,500 and Grafton check-raised to 23,000. Sancak moved all in for approximately 78,000 and Grafton called.

Ersin Sancak: QQ
Sam Grafton: AJ

The 3 and 7 runout ensured Sancak's double up, leaving Grafton with just 7,000.

Hand Two:

The very next hand, Robin Berggren opened to 3,500 from the hijack and Grafton defended off his short stack in the big blind, leaving himself just 2,000 behind.

Grafton checked and then called off his last 2,000 on the A10K flop.

Sam Grafton: J5
Robin Berggren: K9

The A and 9 runout didn't improve Grafton and he made his departure.

A Better Kicker for Margereson

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After Andras Nemeth opened to 4,000 from middle position, Scott Margereson called from the cutoff, as well as Wouter Beltz in the big blind.

On a flop of AJ4, Beltz and Nemeth checked to Margereson, who bet 7,500. Beltz called, but Nemeth folded.

The two remaining players checked on the turn 2. And there was no more action on the river 9 , as they both checked again.

At the same time, they turn over their cards with Beltz having K10 for a missed straight draw. But Margereson had KQ for king-high with the best kicker, so he scooped the pot.

Tammel Applies Maximum Pressure

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The pot stood at 13,000 with two players looking at a flop of 10J10.

Rui Querido Martins, in the big blind, checked the action to Tarmo Tammel, on the button. Tammel bet out 4,000 and Martins check-raised to 12,000. Tammel called.

The 9 turn saw Martins slow down with a check. Tammel placed a bet of 30,000; enough to put Martins' tournament life on the line. Martins used a timebank before making a very frustrated folded. Tammel tabled A8 as he raked in the pot.

Dickerson and Astedt Chop

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jules Dickerson raised to 4,000 from middle position, and was only called by Niklas Astedt who defended from the big blind.

On a flop of 4K3, Dickerson continued with a bet of 2,000, but Astedt check-raised to 8,500. Dickerson eventually called to find the A on the turn.

Astedt checked, so Dickerson bet 8,000. But once again, "Lena900" check-raised to 33,000. Once more, Dickerson made the call.

The 5 came on the river, and Astedt almost didn't have time to shove with 52 that Dickerson snap-called with 22. Both of they had the same straight, so they split the pot.
