Astedt Continues to Chip Up

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jules Dickerson opened to 1,200 and was reraised by Christopher Nguyen to 2,600. Niklas Astedt three-bet to 5,200 and was then four-bet to 18,000 by Simon Mattsson. Dickerson and Nguyen folded and Astedt made the call.

The flop came KJ5, which Astedt checked. Mattsson bet 7k and Astedt called. Astedt checked again on the A turn. Mattsson went into the tank and used a timebank before checking back.

Both players knuckled the J river and Astedt tabled AQ for top two pair. Mattsson mucked and Astedt scooped the pot.

Schwippert led the A1010 flop for 10,000 and Chan called. Schwippert continued barreling the 6 turn for 12,000 and Chan called again.

The 7 river drew a third barrel from Schwippert for 26,300. Chan wasted no time shoving to put Schwippert all in. Schwippert made the call and tabled AJ for top two pair before Chan showed 89 for a straight.
