The €10,200 Mystery Bounty Event Returns to EPT Prague

Rodrigo Seiji
2022 Champion Rodrigo Seiji

Day six of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague sees the €10,200 Mystery Bounty Event return to the Hilton Prague. This tournament has been a feature of the tour since April 2022, where it debuted at EPT Monte-Carlo.

Jean-Noel Thorel won the inaugural event, taking home €184,790 in total - €77,500 of which coming from mystery bounties. He beat Sergi Reixach heads up at the final table, but the Spanish pro actually came away with €253,760, scooping an impressive €177,500 in bounties on top of his second-place prize money.

Rodrigo Seiji took it down at the 2022 EPT Prague, beating Jorryt van Hoof to win €123,380 - €27,500 of which came from bounty prizes. The Dutchman won €112,320 for finishing in second place, with €50,000 resulting from mystery bounties. Incredibly, it was Steve O'Dwyer who took home the most money, despite finishing in seventh. The Irishman won €15,500 from the regular prize pool, but collected an astonishing €117,500 from his bounty-hunting escapades - including two of the highest value €50,000 bounties.

Action kicks off at 4 p.m local time and registration available until Level 10. Of the €10,200 buy-in, €5,000 goes towards the Mystery Bounty prize pool, while €4,700 goes into the regular prize pool. The starting stack is 100,000 chips and levels are 30 minutes in length. Play will end with 15% of the field remaining, at which point all players who bag and tag will be in the money.

Day 2 will commence at 12 p.m local time on Tuesday. At this point, the mystery bounties come into play and the remaining field will battle it out for the top bounties, as well as the regular prize pool.

Mystery bounty tokens are assigned to each player at the start of Day 2, and any player who eliminates another will win their token. These can then be redeemed at any time throughout the day at the mystery bounty desk. Players pick from a selection of envelopes, each containing a random bounty prize (exact bounty amounts will be decided based on entries and final prize pool).

It's sure to be a fun one, so stay tuned to PokerNews to keep up to date with all the action.
