Labryga Maximizes Profit in Three-Way Clash

Level 33 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Christopher Dowling raised to 500,000 from middle position, and got both blinds Jean Labryga and Oleksii Natoptanyi to call. The {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flopped was played passively by all players, as it checked around.

On the {8-Spades} turn the two blinds checked again. This time, however, Dowling made a bet of 500,000. Labryga called while Natoptanyi folded. The river turned out to be the {7-Hearts} and Labryga took the betting lead by forwarding 1,000,000 chips to the middle. Dowling sighed while he put the call in, and it turned out he had good reason to do so.

Labryga showed {10-Hearts}{9-Spades} for the nut straight, while exclaiming: ''Max! Max!''. Laughter was heard around the table while Labryga stacked his chips.
