Saint-Bertin Down But Not Out
The action was first caught on a board where three players were battling for the 60,000 chips already in the middle. Saint-Bertin checked from the big blind, which prompted his neighbor Joseph Chetrit to bet 30,000. After taking some time to think, Tomas de Couto folded his hand from the button, while Saint-Bertin called to see the river. This time Chetrit bet 25,000 after Saint-Bertin checked again, which was enough for Saint-Bertin to lay his hand down.
Manoe Betrix got his stack of around 100,000 in on the very next hand against Saint-Bertin in a preflop all-in situation. The cards were tabled:
Manoe Betrix:
Laurent Saint-Bertin:
The board ran out uneventfully, winning Betrix the pot and leaving Saint-Bertin with a stack of around six big blinds.
