Oleksii Natoptanyi Eliminated in 6th Place (€58,490)

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Oleksii Natoptanyi
Oleksii Natoptanyi

Alan Goasdoue open-jammed from the cutoff and Oleksii Natoptanyi called off in the big blind with around 3,200,000.

Oleksii Natoptanyi: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Alan Goasdoue: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

"Ah," Goasdoue groaned when he saw he was dominated.

The flop then landed {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades} to give Goasdoue a big lead and Natoptanyi let out a sigh as the board finished out {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to end Natoptanyi's roller-coaster level and mark his elimination in sixth place.

Natoptanyi Doubles Next Hand

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Oleksii Natoptanyi
Oleksii Natoptanyi

The hand after he doubled Elias Fisz, Natoptanyi defended his big blind against the 800,000 raise from Alan Goasdoue in the cutoff.

Having only 500,000 chips behind, Natoptanyi decided to go all in on the flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Goasdoue snap called and the hands were shown down.

Oleksii Natoptanyi: {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Alan Goasdoue: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Goasdoue flopped top pair, while Natoptanyi only had a gutshot straight draw. The turn {q-Spades} brought that draw to completion, however, and Natoptanyi shot in the lead. Netoptanyi faded the redraw of Goasdoue on the river {3-Hearts}, and stayed alive in the tournament.

Fisz Doubles Through Natoptanyi

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Oleksii Natoptanyi opened to 1,000,000 as the first player to act and Elias Fisz three-bet jammed a stack of 7,850,000 from the small blind.

"I can't fold this hand," said Fisz. "I call."

Elias Fisz: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Oleksii Natoptanyi: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

A king in the window on the flop of {2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} gave Fisz a big lead and nothing changed on the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} runout to earn him a double.

Everyone Bets Eight

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Oleksii Natoptanyi opened from the cutoff to 800,000. The action folded to Alan Goasdoue, who defended his big blind. {7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} was the flop, which Goasdoue checked. Natoptanyi continuation-bet for 800,000 and Goasdoue called.

The turn {8-Diamonds} changed the flow of play, as Goasdoue now led out for the same 800,000. This time, Natoptanyi was the one to call.

{j-Spades} was the river, and once more the bet was 800,000 from Goasdoue. The fourth use of this bet size in the hand proved to be too much for Natoptanyi, who passed his cards to the dealer face down.

Natoptanyi Gets Shoved on Twice

Level 35 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Oleksii Natoptanyi opened to 800,000 on the button and Roger Taieb three-bet jammed from the small blind. Natoptanyi folded.

"Big hand," Taieb said, while Natoptanyi said he had a small pair.

"Pocket threes?" asked Taieb, which Natoptanyi said was correct.

The next hand, Natoptanyi again opened to 800,000 from the hijack and it was Christopher Dowling who raised all in from the small blind. Natoptanyi once again folded, this time showing the {a-Clubs}.

Thibault Reverdito Eliminated in 7th place (€44,990)

Level 34 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Thibault Reverdito
Thibault Reverdito

Jean-Luc Labryga opened from the hijack position to 700,000. Thibault Reverdito was in the big blind and defended with 2,125,000 in chips behind.

The flop {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} saw Labryga bet 1,200,000 after Reverdito checked. Not long after, Reverdito announced ''all-in'' for the rest of his chips. Labryga was notably unhappy, looked to the sky, and agonizingly threw his hands in the air several times. After a minute or so, he decided he could not fold, and made the call.

Thibault Reverdito: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Jean-Luc Labryga: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Reverdito was in great shape to double up with his flopped top pair, as long as he avoided an ace or a runner-runner in the runout.

The turn came {q-Spades}, which gave Labryga a gutshot to Broadway. The river {10-Clubs} disgusted Reverdito, while Labryga cheered audibly, as it brought in said gutshot.

A runner-runner straight for Labryga to bust Reverdito as the first player today, raising his tally to four knockouts in a row since the last ten players.

Labryga Leads Into Taieb

Level 34 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Jean-Luc Labryga limped in from early position and Roger Taieb did the same from the hijack, while Elias Fisz checked his option in the big blind.

Fisz and Labryga both checked on the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop and Taieb bet 450,000. Fisz folded and Labryga called.

"Never want to fold, Jean-Luc!" commented Taieb.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and Labryga led out for 1,300,000, prompting a quick fold from Taieb. Labryga then tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for an underpair before raking in the pot.

Goasdoue Outkicks Labryga for a Double

Level 34 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Alan Goasdoue
Alan Goasdoue

The action folded to short stack Alan Goasdoue, who raised his button to 600,000. Chipleader Jean-Luc Labryga looked him up with a call in the big blind.

Goasdoue put out a minimum bet of 300,000 on {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} after Labryga checked to him. Labryga quickly called and the two were off to the next street. On the turn {10-Hearts} Labryga checked again, and Goasdoue tripled his sizing to 900,000 this time. Once more, Labryga obliged with a call.

The river {q-Spades} rolled off, and Labryga almost instantly announced he was all in, covering Goasdoue multiple times over. Goasdoue did not take much time to make the call for his tournament life.

Jean-Luc Labryga: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Alan Goasdoue: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Both players turned trips, but Goasdoue's kicker played, thus securing the double-up for him.
