D'Ursel Takes Consecutive Pots
In the last two hands of Level 1, Igor D'Ursel won consecutive pots to become the biggest stack on his table.
For the first hand, Denis Simionel opened to 300 from under the gun before the player in middle position three-bet to 1,000. Igor D'Ursel flat-called from the cutoff and then Henri Juutilainen four-bet to 4,000 from the big blind. Only D'Ursel called.
The flop checked through to the turn. Juutilainen bet 3,000 and was called. On the river, Juutilainen check-folded after D'Ursel fired for 10,000.
The following hand, D'Ursel opened to 300 from the hijack and called when Juha Helppi made it 1,300 on his direct left.
D'Ursel check-called for 1,000 on the flop before the turn checked through to the river. D'Ursel then led out for 3,500 and after some thinking time, Helppi folded.
