Day 1 of EPT Paris €3,000 Mystery Bounty to Kick Off at 4 p.m.
The PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris is in full flow, with the EPT Paris Main Event on Day 2 and several tournaments already in the books.
Next up on the agenda is the €3,000 EPT Paris Mystery Bounty, which kicks off inside the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile at 4 p.m. CET.
This is the second Mystery Bounty tournament at EPT Paris, with Portugal's Andre Marques taking down the €10,200 Mystery Bounty at the beginning of the series. Marques despatched Kayhan Mokri in heads-up play to claim the €128,500 up top and a further €47,500 in additional bounties.
This event is a three-day tournament, with late registration open until the beginning of Day 2, which kicks off at 12:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, February 23.
Day 2 is when the Mystery Bounty element comes into play, and possible prizes could be as followed but are not limited to €100,000, €50,000, €30,000, €15,000, €10,000, €5,000, €1,000, and €500.
Anyone who enters the Mystery Bounty will receive a starting stack of 30,000. The plan for Day 1 is to play ten 40-minute levels, and while the registration period is open, players are allowed a single reentry.
The players will take a 20-minute comfort break after the first three levels and then play another three levels before going on a 75-minute dinner break (approx. 8:20 p.m.). They will then duke it out for another two levels before going on their last 20-minute break and then return to battle it in Levels 9 and 10. Anyone with chips in front of them will then bag and tag their stacks for the event's next stage.
A third of the €3,000 buy-in will go into the bounty prize pool, while €1,688 of the entry fee will be allotted to the regular prize purse.
