Mulder Pressures Kisacikoglu; Brewer Out

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu limped in from the small blind and Teun Mulder raised to 28,000 from the big blind. Kisacikoglu called and the dealer fanned the flop of {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Kisacikoglu checked to Mulder who continued with a bet of 10,000 and Kisacikoglu called. The {a-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Kisacikoglu checked again. Mulder tossed in a bet of 28,000 and Kisacikoglu let his hand go.

Next door, Chris Brewer pushed his short stack into the middle on the button and was called by Tauan Naves in the big blind. Naves spiked an ace on the flop with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Brewer was seen heading for the exit.

Grafton Stays Alive with Quads

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Simon Mattsson raised to 12,000 in middle position and Sam Grafton shoved all in for 69,000 in the hijack. Mike Watson re-shoved all in from the cutoff and everyone else folded, including Mattsson.

Sam Grafton: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Mike Watson: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop fell {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Grafton managed to take the lead despite a king on the board. The {j-Clubs} on the turn gave Grafton quads to secure the double-up through Watson.

The Canadian would bust shortly after.

Kuznetsov Eliminated by Davies

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Seth Davies raised to 13,000 from the cutoff and was called by a very short-stacked Nikita Kuznetsov in the small blind.

On the {5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, Kuznetsov checked and Davies bet enough to cover the 13,000 that Kusnetsov had left. He chose to call in rough shape.

Nikita Kuznetsov: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Seth Davies: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {a-Hearts} on the turn and {10-Spades} on the river to give Davies the win and eliminate Kuznetsov.

Nesterov Doubles Through Orpaz

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After Tom Orpaz limped blind in the small blind, Jakov Nesterov moved all in from the big blind for 100,000.

Orpaz checked his cards and knew he now had a decision to make. After a bit of thought, he chose to call.

Jakov Nesterov {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Tom Orpaz: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop was clean for Orpaz's king-high, as was the {2-Spades} turn, but the {9-Hearts} river paired Nesterov to give him the double-up.

Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, Daniel Dvoress was eliminated.

Teun Sets the Tune

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Teun Mulder and Kayhan Mokri got all of their chips in the middle preflop and it was Mulder who was at risk for just under 100,000.

Teun Mulder: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Kayhan Mokri: {a-}{9-}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Mulder's ace-high was enough to earn him a double-up.

"Hey, PokerNews!" Tom Orpaz shouted at the table. "Make sure you put the title 'Teun Sets the Tune," as the players at the table were discussing how to pronounce the Dutchman's name.
