Peter Kvisthammar was under the gun in a heads-up pot against Francesco Baglione on the button on a flop of A99.

Kvisthammar checked on the flop and Baglione bet 2,100. Kvisthammar called. Kvisthammar checked again on the A turn and Baglione checked back. The 6 river completed the board and Kvisthammar led out for 2,000. Baglione called.

"I have a nine," Kvisthammar said before showing 109 for a full house as his opponent mucked in defeat.

Schwederle Overbets Two Streets

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Cedric Schwederle opened to 500 from early position and Oddvar Brendo called in the cutoff before Joao Vieira also called out of the big blind.

Vieira checked on the flop of 10710 and Schwederle continued for 500. Brendo called and Vieira folded. Schwederle sized up to 3,600 on the A turn and Brendo again called.

The 4 river completed the board and Schwederle bet 20,000 to put Brendo all in for his final 12,000. Brendo went in the tank for over a minute and landed on a fold.

Shevliakov Takes From Kasper

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Henri Kasper raised to 400 from under the gun and Aleksandr Shevliakov raised to 1,400 from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way and Kasper called to see a flop.

The flop was 5Q8 and Kasper check-called a 1,700 bet from Shevliakov. The turn was A.

Kasper checked again and this time Shevliakov fired 3,500, but that was too much for Kasper and he tossed his hand in the muck.

Alexandra Botez and Ehsan Amiri tangled once more as Amiri open-jammed a stack of around 4,000 from under the gun and Botez called in the small blind to put the Australian at risk.

The chess queen had Amiri's king dominated and nothing changed on the runout of 92775 to send Amiri to the rail in one of the first eliminations of the day.

Buonanno Pressures Cessy

Talgat Mykhanov opened from under the gun before Antonio Buonanno made it 1,200 from the button. Laurent Cessy came along from the small blind and the big blind got out of the way to make a three-way pot.

The flop was AQ2 and action checked to Buonanno on the button for a bet of 1,600. Cessy called and Mykhanov folded before 10 fell on the turn.

Cessy check-called a 3,000 bet on the turn and the river was 3. Cessy checked again and folded when Buonanno fired a bet of 6,500.
