Kisacikoglu Gets Off to a Hot Start

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu was one of the late entries to start Day 2 with a stack of 30,000 chips. However, in less than an hour, he has managed to build up an above-average stack. Kisacikoglu opened to 3,500 in early position and Sokratis Linares three-bet to 11,000 on the button. Kisacikoglu called and the dealer spread the JJ4 flop.

Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 10,000 from Linares and the 10 rolled off on the turn. Kisacikoglu checked again and Linares shoved all in for 20,000. Kisacikoglu thought for a minute before dropping in the call.

Linares tabled A9 for just ace-high while Kisacikoglu was out front with 99. The river was the Q and Linares was ousted in the first level of the day.
