O'Dwyer Jams the River

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 120,000 from the button and Steve O'Dwyer defended his big blind. The 882 flop saw Badziakouski continuation-bet for 60,000 before O'Dwyer check-raised to 160,000. Badziakouski put in one extra T-100,000 chip for the call and a turn was dealt.

On the 3, O'Dwyer increased his sizing to 180,000 and Badziakouski called again. The 7 river fell and O'Dwyer announced a bet of 845,000. He had miscounted his stack, however, and had put himself all in for 815,000.

This sent Badziakouski into a tank with his hands in his hair. After spending one time bank chip and almost depleting his second, he found the fold and the pot went O'Dwyer's way.

Daniel Dvoress Eliminated In 6th Place (€220,800)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

The action was picked up in a heads-up pot with just over 500,000 in the middle on a completed board showing 73282. Daniel Dvoress bet out 650,000 in the small blind, leaving a single 5,000-chip behind. Mikita Badziakouski quickly announced all in from the big blind and Dvoress snap-folded his cards.

Two hands later, Dvoress moved in for his last 5,000 and both Ben Heath and Steve O'Dwyer played from the blinds. The flop came A104 and action checked to the J turn. Heath led out for the minimum and O'Dwyer called.

The K completed the board and both players checked to a showdown. Heath showed J7 and Dvoress tabled K8 but was no good against the A6 for O'Dwyer who took the pot. Dvoress was eliminated and would have to settle for the sixth place payday of €220,800.

O'Dwyer Doubles Back Through Dvoress

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Not long after Steve O'Dwyer had doubled Daniel Dvoress, the reverse situation happened. O'Dwyer raised from under the gun and Dvoress put out a three-bet from the button. O'Dwyer then four-bet jammed 675,000 and Dvoress snap called.

Steve O'Dwyer: AJ
Daniel Dvoress: KK

Dvoress was set to score a knockout, but an ace showed itself on the A25 flop. The J turn made O'Dwyer two pair and the J river upgraded him even further to a full house.

Both O'Dwyer and Dvoress are now playing a below-average stack.

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress opened the action to 110,000 from the hijack and it folded to Steve O'Dwyer in the small blind who three-bet to 290,000. The big blind folded and Dvoress moved all in for 865,000 total. O'Dwyer went deep in the tank, but after close to two minutes, made the call and the cards were shown.

Steve O'Dwyer: AJ

Dvoress was well in the lead and when the board ran out AKK710, the ace-queen for Dvoress held up to secure the full double up and leave O'Dwyer short.

Roman Samoylov Eliminated in 7th Place (€184,000)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Roman Samoylov
Roman Samoylov

Roman Samoylov has been eliminated from the field in two back-to-back hands.

In the first hand, he opened to 100,000 from the hijack and Mikita Badziakouski made the call from the big blind. A 585 flop was dealt and Badziakouski led out for 70,000. Samoylov made the call. The turn was the 9 and this time Badziakouski bet 110,000. Again, Samoylov called.

The 10 river then fell and Badziakouski remained the aggressor, with a bet of 100,000. Samoylov put out a raise to 400,000, but Badziakouski was not stopping and three-bet the Israeli all-in.

With 270,000 chips behind, Samoylov laid his hand down.

On the very next hand, he put all of those chips in the middle when he went all-in from under the gun. Daniel Dvoress rejammed 470,000 from the cutoff and the rest of the table folded.

Roman Samoylov: Q10
Daniel Dvoress: KJ

Samoylov flopped two pair on AQ10, but let out a big sigh once he realized that it meant that his opponent had flopped a straight. The board did not pair on the 39 runout and Samoylov received some ''good games'' from his opponents before he left the table.

Ketzer Finds a Double Up

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action folded around to Enrico Camosci in the small blind who moved all in, covering the 495,000 remaining for Felipe Ketzer in the big blind, who went in the tank. After close to 30 seconds, Ketzer made the call for his tournament life and the cards were shown.

Felipe Ketzer: K10
Enrico Camosci: 75

Ketzer was ahead preflop but would need to dodge the live cards for Camosci. The board ran out J42QA and the king-ten for Ketzer made Broadway to score the full double up.
