Danchev Turns a Set
Level 7
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Guram Andronikashvili raised it up from under the gun and was called by Dimitar Danchev on the button and both of the blinds. The flop came J♣9♦2♣ and the action checked around to the 5♦ on the turn.
Motoyoshi Okamura was first to act in the small blind and ripped all in for his last 27,000 chips. Adrian Mateos folded in the big blind and Andronikashvili also got out of the way. Danchev, however, snap-called to put Okamura at risk.
Okamura tabled J♠9♠ for two pair but Danchev turned a set with 5♠5♣. The river was the 10♠ which provided no help to Okamura who hit the rail.
