Mulder Solid in Second
Level 17
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Juan Pardo open-raised to 90,000 as first to act and the table folded to Teun Mulder in the big blind, who obliged with a call. Pardo then continuation-bet for 60,000 on the 7♣Q♠K♥ flop after a check from Mulder, and Mulder called.
Both players then checked on the K♦ turn before Mulder checked the 9♣ river as well. Pardo responded with a bet of 240,000, which Mulder promptly raised to 800,000. This visibly agonized Pardo, but he ended up making the call.
Mulder showed him J♦10♠ for a rivered straight and Pardo threw his cards into the muck. By winning this Pot, Mulder sits in second place on the leaderboard.
