Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Fabio Peluso
Fabio Peluso

Bart Lybaert opened to 40,000 from the button and Fabio Peluso three-bet to 165,000 from the small blind. Lybaert made the call.

The flop came J5K. Peluso fired a 125,000 continuation bet which was called by Lybaert.

On the 3 turn Peluso moved all in for 500,000.

"I'll use some cards" Lybaert said, in reference to his time extensions. After considering his options for just over one minute, Lybaert flicked in a single calling chip to put Peluso at risk.

"Good call" Peluso told his opponent as the cards were put on their backs.

Fabio Peluso: AQ
Bart Lybaert: KQ

Peluso had been caught bluffing and could only be saved by a ten or an ace, neither of which materialized on the 9 river. Peluso made his exit from the tournament area while Lybaert took down a sizable pot.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Seyedalo Hosseinirami
Seyedalo Hosseinirami

Seyedali Hosseinirami opened to 40,000 before Andrea Dato three-bet to 115,000. Jose Gonzalez Sanchez put in the four-bet to 275,000, which prompted Hosseinirami to move all in for 540,000. Dato got out of the way and Sanchez called.

Seyedali Hosseinirami: AA
Jose Gonzalez Sanchez: KK

Hosseinirami was on the right side of the preflop cooler and whipped out his phone to record the runout.

The 822 flop and 8 turn had him with one hand on the double-up. However, the K river gave Sanchez a full house to take in the pot.

Hosseinirami threw his phone on the table in disappointment. What was supposed to be a nice Mediterranean memory quickly became a nightmare for the Iranian.

Dato Cracks Aces to Reduce Sanchez

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Andrea Dato
Andrea Dato

Andrea Dato opened to 35,000 from under the gun and Jose Gonzalez Sanchez three-bet to 75,000 from the hijack. Dato made the call.

The flop came 997. Dato checked and Sanchez bet 50,000. Dato put in a check-raise to 150,000 and Sanchez made the call.

On the 6 turn Dato checked and Sanchez bet 325,000. Dato check-raised for the second street in a row, this time moving all in for 755,000. Sanchez looked visibly frustrated but quickly made the call to put Dato at risk.

Andrea Dato: Q9
Jose Gonzalez Sanchez: AA

Dato's trip nines were well ahead of Sanchez, who was drawing to two outs with pocket aces. He could not find an ace on the 5 river and Dato collected a massive double up worth nearly two million while also making a serious dent in Sanchez' stack.

Tannoury Calls Off In Massive Pot

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Ricardo Tannoury
Ricardo Tannoury

With around 300,000 already in the middle on a board of 87210, Gilles Simon bet 190,000 from the cutoff and Ricardo Tannoury called in the big blind.

The river came the 2 and Tannoury checked over to Simon, who announced he was all in.

Tannoury had around 800,000 remaining and used four time banks as he tanked for more than two minutes before flicking in a chip to signify a call. Simon then turned over JJ, while Tannoury could only show 109 for a pair of tens.

Simon knocked over Casimir Seire's gin and tonic as he celebrated winning the massive pot to send Tannoury to the rail. "I know it was an exciting pot, but come on. I'm all wet now," Seire said as he ordered another soda water.

"We have a new chip leader now," tablemate Mekan Yusupov said. Simon also knocked out Maduka Meragal at this table earlier in the day as he moved up to around 3,000,000.

Andreas Tomazou
Andreas Tomazou

Andreas Tomazou was in the small blind and dropped in a single 25,000-chip before being informed his action would count as a call. Fabio Peluso checked his option in the big blind.

"Very lucky for you," said Tomazou.

"Maybe you," laughed Peluso.

Tomazou checked on the flop of 61010 and Peluso checked back. Tomazou checked again on the 2 turn and Peluso bet 30,000. Tomazou called.

The 7 river completed the board and Tomazou moved all in for 185,000. Peluso took some time and called with a bigger stack. Tomazou showed J10 for flopped trips to beat out the 87 of Peluso.

"Lucky river for me," said Tomazou.

Yugay Doubles Through Montois

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Victor Yugay
Victor Yugay

Fabio Peluso opened to 30,000 from middle position and Victor Yugay three-bet to 80,000 from the small blind. Julien Montois four-bet shoved for 800,000 in the big blind, covering both players. Peluso got out of the way while Yugay called off with his 385,000 stack to put himself at risk.

Victor Yugay: AA
Julien Montois: JJ

Montois was in bad shape with a lower pocket pair and the AQ2 flop left him drawing close to dead after Yugay flopped top set. The 8Q turn and river changed nothing and Yugay collected a full double up, effectively swapping stack sizes with Montois.

Carl Shaw
Carl Shaw

Carl Shaw opened to 30,000 from middle position and Kenny Hallaert three-bet to 100,000 from the button. Shaw put in a four-bet to 280,000 which was called by Hallaert.

The flop came 2J2 and Shaw fired a 155,000 continuation bet. Hallaert made the call.

Both players checked the 9 turn leading to the Q river. Shaw moved all in for 460,000. Hallaert took about 20 seconds to weigh his options before flicking in a call.

Both players had rivered a queen but Shaw's KQ could not beat Hallaert's AQ, and he was sent to the rail early in Day 4 while Hallaert scooped a gargantuan pot.
