Julien Montois

At Gerard Carbo's table, Ali Fkih bet 55,000 from the small blind on a flop of 636 before Julien Montois raised to 135,000 on the button.

Fkih then reraised to 235,000, Montois moved all in, and Fkih snap-called for his last 200,000.

Ali Fkih: 99
Julien Montois: 1010

Both players had overpairs, but Montois was ahead with his tens as they awaited the turn and river. The board came 63 and Montois gave a big fist pump as he walked away from the table, while Fkih could only lower his head before handing over the rest of his chips.

"We have a new millionaire," tablemate Mekan Yusupov said.

Shuang Luo

Shuang Luo opened to 16,000 from early position and Viliyan Petleshkov called in the cutoff before Markus Schottes also called on the button.

Luo and Petleshkov checked on the flop of 10Q7 and Schottes bet 28,000. Luo check-raised to 85,000 and Petleshkov folded before Schottes called.

Luo then quickly moved all in for around 200,000 on the 6 turn and Schottes used through his time banks before calling with a bigger stack.

Shuang Luo: A7
Markus Schottes: J9

Luo was ahead with a pair of sevens and had a better flush draw, while Schottes was still live with a straight draw. The 5 river bricked off and Luo earned the sizable double despite missing her flush.

Alex Kulev

More than 200,000 was already in the pot as Gerard Carbo and Alex Kulev went to the turn on a board of A8J7.

Kulev was in the small blind and moved all in for 276,000. Carbo snap-called and showed AK for top pair. Kulev could only show 97 for a pair of sevens and a straight draw.

The river 5 was no help to Kulev and Carbo scooped the massive pot to send Kulev to the rail.

"Are you a millionaire yet," a tablemate asked Carbo, who stacked up around 1,100,000 after the hand.

"More," another tablemate added.

Carl Shaw is also sitting with around 1,100,000 after recently busting Pete Chen by winning a race with pocket tens.

Marc Foggin
Marc Foggin

Heads-up on a flop of 736, Francisco Benitez bet 22,000 from under the gun before Marc Foggin moved all in from the big blind. Benitez snap-called.

Francisco Benitez: JJ
Marc Foggin: 66

Foggin showed Benitez the bad news when he flipped over a set of sixes as he was poised to crack Benitez's pair of jacks. The board ran out 79 and Foggins finished with a full house to earn the pot.

The stacks were counted down and Foggin had 190,000 remaining, barely covering Benitez's stack. The Uruguayan high roller didn't even wait for instructions on how to collect his payout before he stormed off to the exit.

Meanwhile, a big pot was brewing at another table between Fabio Peluso and Oleg Ustinovich.

Peluso bet 58,000 from the cutoff on a board of 10J29 and Ustinovich called in early position. The river came the Q and Peluso then moved all in.

Ustinovich had around 120,000 remaining and burned through a time bank before tossing his cards into the muck.

A pot of around 170,000 was already in the middle as Gary Miller and Angelos Michael went to the turn on a board of 210A7.

Miller then bet 124,000 from middle position before Michael burned through several time banks. He eventually announced he was all in for around 280,000 and Miller snap-called.

Michael turned over A8 for top pair, but he was already drawing dead against Miller's A10 for two pair. The river was the 3 and Miller scooped the massive pot to send Michael to the rail.

At the same time at another table, Michele D'Angelo got his last 100,000 in from the cutoff against Priit Parmasto in the big blind with the flop showing 594.

Michele D'Angelo: 1010

Luo Spikes the River on Mouawad

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Shuang Luo
Shuang Luo

Jose Gonzalez's table just witnessed another all-in confrontation, and this time it was between Shuang Luo and Joe Mouawad.

The two opponents went to the 5510 flop where Mouawad got his last 54,000 in the middle from the big blind as Luo had him at risk from early position.

Joe Mouawad: J10
Shuang Luo: AK

Mouawad was ahead with two pair heading to the J turn, which improved him to a higher two pair. The river, though, was the Q and Luo made a straight to send Mouawad to the rail.

"Sorry," she told him. Gonzalez then got up from his seat to shake Mouwad's hand.

"It was nice playing with you," he told Mouawad.

"You too. Good luck," Mouawad said, waving goodbye to his now-former tablemates before heading off to collect his payout.
