Baumgartner Tries to Represent What Tishkevich Has
Heads-up on a board of 4♣3♦5♥6♥, Pascal Baumgartner led out for 12,000 from the big blind and Stanislav Tishkevich called in the hijack.
The river came the Q♥ and Baumgartner bet another 17,500.
"Do you have a flush," Tishkevich asked.
"I have two cards," Baumgartner replied.
"I hope we split," Tishkevich added as he called.
"You win. I only have a three," Baumgartner said, showing K♠3♠. Tishkevich turned over 7♦6♦ for a flopped straight to win the pot.
"I didn't think you had the straight," Baumgartner told Tishkevich after the hand.
"I had the straight on the flop. It just kept getting worse and worse," Tishkevich replied.
"I was trying to represent what you had," Baumgartner concluded.
Tishkevich is sitting beside Andrei Vavilonskii as the two enjoy a bit of a reunion after they both went deep in the Eureka Main Event earlier this week.
