Waigel Trips up Shaw
Level 30
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Carl Shaw opened to 240,000 on the button and was called by Ezequiel Waigel in the small blind and Santiago Plante in the big blind.
It was checked to Shaw on the A♥A♠7♠ flop and he bet 160,000. Only Waigel called.
Waigel checked again on the 8♣ turn and Shaw sized up for a 1,100,000 bet. Waigel pondered a bit, but decided to call.
Both players checked when the 6♠ completed the board and Waigel turned over A♣J♠ for trip aces. Shaw couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Waigel.
