Five-Deuce Is Good For Lin
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Daniel Ghionoiu opened to 1,100 from the hijack and was called by Erik Seidel in the cutoff. Ren Lin defended his big blind, and a 2♥3♥7♠ flop landed on the table.
Ghionoiu made a continuation bet of 2,100, and Seidel folded. Lin looked at his chips and check-called.
"What do you want? A deuce?" asked Lin. "Yes," said Ghionoiu. But it's the 8♥ that came on the turn. Ghionoiu asked for 4,000 chips more, and once again, Lin, talkative as always, called.
The river card was the 9♥, and Lin quickly moved all in for 10,100 chips. Ghionoiu folded, and Lin revealed 5♠2♦ for a simple pair of deuces.
