Rohr Scares off Opposition
Level 6
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
With about 3,500 in the middle and the board reading Q♥9♥7♦, Robert Rohr bet 900 from middle position and was called by Max Burney in the hijack and Manoel Assuncao in the cutoff.
The turn came the 2♥ and this time Rohr sized up with a 7,500 bet, slightly more than pot-sized. Burney called while Assuncao got out of the way.
The river was the 4♥ leaving four cards to a flush on the board. Rohr moved all in, covering Burney's remaining stack of 27,000. Burney did not take long to make the fold.
"I had a nice hand" Rohr told his opponents as he scooped in a healthy pot.
