Vaskaboinikua Drops Below One Million

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 100,000 from under the gun with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Adrian Mateos defended from the big blind with {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The flop fell {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Mateos checked to Vaskaboinikau who continued with a bet of 100,000. Mateos check-raised to 300,000 after flopping trip tens and Vaskaboinikau quickly got away from his hand.

A few hands later, Mateos limped in from the small blind with {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Vaskaboinikau checked his option with {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. An action flop of {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} was spread across the table and Mateos led out with a bet of 50,000. Vaskaboinikau called with his straight draw and the {6-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Both players checked and the {q-Hearts} completed the board. Mateos went for a small value bet of 60,000 and Vaskaboinikau quickly folded again.
