Soldermann Makes Quads With a Big Blind Special

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ezequiel Waigel raised it up on the button and Gerald Soldermann called from the big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Soldermann check-called a bet from Waigel.

The turn was the {j-Spades} and Soldermann led out with a bet of 13,500 into a pot of just 12,000. Waigel called and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board. Soldermann announced all in and Waigel was put to the test for his remaining 20,000 chips.

He thought for a couple of minutes before finally making the call. Soldermann turned over {7-Clubs}{3-Spades} for quad sevens while Waigel was forced to show his {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for an inferior full house.
