Marques' Sevens Scores Elimination Over Xie's Jacks

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Renee Xie was all in for around 18,000 against Andre Filipe Moreira Marques.

Renee Xie: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Andre Filipe Moreira Marques: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Xie was way ahead of her Brazilian opponent but was shaking her head when the flop came {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

She was still shaking her head through the {a-Diamonds} turn.

The {4-Clubs} river gave Marques a straight and eliminated Xie, who threw her arms up as if she knew it was coming all along.

With that hand, Marques is now hovering around a quarter of a million chips.

Rebollar Coolers, Eliminates Rust on River

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With approximately 21,000 in the pot on a {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop, Jose Valls Rebollar, from the small blind, fired for 5,000. Svein Rust, in the cutoff, raised to 12,000. Rebollar called.

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and Rebollar put his entire blue stack in front of him, putting Rust all in. Rust went into the tank for about 90 seconds before eventually making the call for his last 24,000.

Svein Rust: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Jose Valls Rebollar: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Rust was well out in front with his top two pair firmly ahead of Rebollar's pair of jacks.

However, poker was cruel to the Norweigan as the {j-Spades} hit the river, causing grimaces all around the table.

Rebollar would collect a huge pot with his fortunate trips while Rust left the table after a few seconds of sitting in stunned silence.

Lococo Exudes Good Sportsmanship, Goes Over 200,000

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Matteo Baroni opened for 2,500 from under the gun and Alejandro Lococo called from middle position. Hernan Dario Villa Restrepo also called from the big blind.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and action checked around. On the {j-Spades} turn, all three players tapped the table once more.

On the {5-Clubs} river, both Restrepo and Baroni quickly checked to Lococo, who thought about his decision for about 30 seconds before lifting his head and speaking to Baroni. Lococo told Baroni that Restrepo had made an action that made it obvious that he was going to fold and that he should have the same information.

After the dust settled, Lococo put out a bet of 16,000. After Restrepo folded, Baroni said that it didn't matter because he was going to fold to any bet.

Lococo has had great success building his stack in this flight and is now up over 200,000 in chips.
