Badziakouski Hero Calls For a Double

Level 19 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Action folded around to Mikita Badziakouski in the small blind and he limped in with {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Mike Watson in the big blind raised with {8-Spades}{4-Hearts} to 220,000 and Badziakouski called.

The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Badziakouski led out for 100,000. Watson came back with a raise to 450,000 and Badziakouski stuck around to see the {7-Diamonds} on the turn.

Badziakouski checked and Watson bet another 450,000. Badziakouski again called as the river came the {a-Spades}.

After another check from Badziakouski, Watson shoved all in. Badziakouski, with 1,740,000 remaining, used two time bank cards before he called with his two pair, tens and sevens.

Watson could only show his missed straight draw as he handed over most of his stack to the Belarussian, who is now the tournament chip leader.

Mulder Finds a Double Up

Level 19 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

After Teun Mulder lost with ace-king against queens he moved all in on the next hand for 235,000 and was called by the big stack of Kevin Paque.

Teun Mulder: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Kevin Paque: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

It was a classic flip until the board ran out {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, giving Mulder a set and the full double up off Paque.

Nick Petrangelo Eliminated in 8th Place (€247,400)

Level 19 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

On the first hand of the final table, Mikita Badziakouski opened with {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} to 200,000 from early position before Nick Petrangelo shoved for 435,000 with {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} next to act. In the cutoff, Teun Mulder reshoved for 1,385,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Badziakouski called for 1,150,000 when action folded back to him.

The {3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop gave Badziakouski top set, but Mulder picked up a flush and Broadway straight draw. The {9-Spades} was no help to Mulder, and Badziakouski survived when the {4-Hearts} came on the river to double through Mulder and knock out Petrangelo in eighth place.
