Chip Leader Drops Two in a Row

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Michael Pinto raised to 125,000 on the button and Valentin-Marius Cristea defended the big blind.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Cristea check-called a bet of 150,000. Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Cristea led out for 150,000 on the {10-Spades} river and Pinto took off his sunglasses before calling after some consideration. Cristea showed {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} which was good enough to win the pot.

A few hands later, Pinto raised again to 125,000 from early position and Giuliano Bendinelli called in the big blind.

Pinto continued for 150,000 on the {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop and Bendinelli called. Pinto upped his bet to 450,000 on the {10-Clubs} turn and Bendinelli again called. Both players checked down the {9-Hearts} river.

Bendinelli showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for a flopped pair of aces and Pinto again mucked.
