Boeken is Blasting
Dutch star Noah Boeken came to play today, as he was recently spotted getting involved in four straight hands.
First, he opened in middle position to 500, receiving calls from William Hani in the small blind and Justin Boyle in the big blind.
After his opponents checked to him, Boeken bet 800 and took the pot down.
The next hand, he raised again to 500 in early position and was three-bet to 1,700 by Daniel Birkmose in the hijack. Action folded back to Boeken, who folded.
Under the gun, Boeken raised to 500 yet again, only receiving a call from Thierry Aqua in the big blind.
The players checked the flop, then Aqua check-called a bet of 600 from Boeken on the turn.
They both checked the river, with Aqua showing for a king-high flush to beat Boeken's .
Boeken's final hand in this stretch came with him in the big blind facing a raise from Osman Aksu on the button to 600 and a call from Aqua in the small blind.
Boeken then squeezed to 3,500 in the big blind, which was met by a four-bet to 12,600 by Aksu. Aqua folded, then Boeken did as well.
