Ferreira called and on the {7-Spades} river, he checked again.

Ferreira Takes Chip Lead With Biggest Pot of Tournament

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Rui Ferreira
Rui Ferreira

Rui Ferreira raised to 400,000 on the button and was called by Laszlo Molnar in the big blind.

The players checked the {4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop, but on the {9-Hearts} turn, the fun began. Molnar led out big for 750,000 and was called by Ferreira.

The river brought the {j-Clubs} and Molnar fired big again, this time for 2,000,000.

After using a time bank, Ferreira moved all in for 5,250,000, which sent Molnar into the tank.

He used up four of his time banks to make his decision before finally landing on a call.

Ferreira showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a rivered queen-high straight. Molnar frustratedly flipped up {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for trip jacks which got scooped up and tossed into the muck as a massive pile of chips was pushed to Ferreira.

Daewoong Song Eliminated in 5th Place (€254,380)

Daewoong Song

Daewoong Song open-jammed a stack of 950,000 from the cutoff and Stefan Schillhabel flat-called on the button with a bigger stack.

Daewoong Song: {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Stefan Schillhabel: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The flop landed {10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to give both players pairs and Song's rail was singing for another three before the turn brought the {q-Spades} to have the South Korean drawing dead headed to the {4-Diamonds} river.

Song took a brutal beat earlier when he doubled up Schillhabel after both players had king-jack and the German hit a runner-runner flush.
