Welcome to the €50,000 Single-Day High Roller II
Just three days after the last €50,000 Single-Day Higher Roller, another one kicks off here at the PokerStars and Barcelona©Casino European Poker Tour with the €50,000 Single-Day High Roller II.
Canadian Mike Watson took down the last €50,000 high roller, late on Saturday 13th August, where he defeated the 59 star studded entrant field to take the trophy and the grand prize of €872,940. Watson defeated Australian Kahle Burns in the heads up battle after making a straight flush to take the title and the biggest part of the €2,862,090 prizepool.
The best in the world will do battle to emulate Watson in the second opportunity to add a €50,000 higher roller title, at EPT Barcelona, to their resume.
Action will start at approximately 12:30 p.m. local time with each player receiving a starting stack of 100,000 chips. The blinds will begin at 500/1,000 with a big blind ante of 1,000 and the levels will be 30 minutes in length.
There will be a 15-minute break after the first four levels and then switch to 15-minute breaks after every three levels. The 75-minute dinner break is scheduled after 10 levels of play and late registration will remain open until the end of Level 10. As with all high rollers, players will receive eight time bank cards before play, seven cards on Level 1, six cards on Levels 2 & 3, five cards on Levels 4 & 5, and four cards on Level 6 & higher. There is unlimited reentry.
Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the updates from the €50,000 Single-Day Higher Roller II until another EPT Barcelona champion will be crowned.
