Badziakouski Wins Nice Pot vs. Tang with Bubble Pressure Still On

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 50,000 from early position and Danny Tang defended his big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Badziakouski continued for 25,000. Tang called.

The turn brought the {a-Hearts}, putting a second flush draw on the board. Badziakouski fired a second bullet, this time for 60,000. Tang called once more.

On the {2-Diamonds} river, each player was content to quickly tap the table. Tang turned over {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for bottom pair and a missed nut flush draw. Badziakouski, meanwhile, turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of aces and the win.

Phua Wins Big One from Martirosian

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Paul Phua
Paul Phua

Paul Phua was under-the-gun when he raised Artur Martirosian's big blind to 50,000, and Martirosian didn't seem to take too kindly to that as he three-bet him to 130,000. Phua called and the players went heads up to a flop with over 160,000 in the pot.

The flop was {2-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Martirosian led out for 50,000 and Phua simply called.

But on the turn {4-Diamonds}, Martirosian made it a little more with a 105,000 sizing and Phua went into the tank. After using one of his time banks, he eventually decided on a call. The pot now had now grown to roughly 475,000.

On the river, the {k-Clubs} came to pair the board, and this saw a check from Martirosian. After some thinking, Phua then slung out six green chips for a bet of 150,000, and now Martirosian was in the tank. All out of time chips, as the clock reached zero he was forced to make a decision or his hand was dead, and right at the last second, he made the call.

Phua then flipped over {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} for top two pair, aces and kings, and Martirosian sucked his teeth and mucked his hand.

Phua was pushed the massive pot and his stack grew to over a million.

Martirosian Stuns Ponakovs with 1.2 Million Chip Two-Outer, Rabl Eliminated

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

With around 150,000 in the middle on a {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} board, Aleksejs Ponakovs put out a bet of 45,000 from under the gun. Artur Martirosian called from the cutoff.

The river brought the {5-Spades} and Ponakovs put out a bet of 170,000. After using a time bank chip, Martirosian raised to 465,000, leaving 100,000 chips behind. After some deliberation, the Latvian made the call and Martirosian showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, stunning everyone at the table.

With that, Ponakovs is suddenly one of the short stacks in the room while Martirosian becomes the chip leader.

On the table, Laszlo Bujtas eliminated Eric Rabl, with his pocket tens triumphing over pocket fours in a relatively small pot.

The players are now engaged in hand-for-hand play on the stone money bubble.

Addamo showed {j-}{j-} while Benitez tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for the win and took his stack to around 800,000.
