Addamo Wins Three-Bet Pot, Petrangelo Soars into the Lead

Level 6 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Addamo opened to 4,500 from the hijack and Pablo Brito Silva three-bet to 13,000 from the cutoff. Addamo called.

The flop came {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Silva continued for 10,000. Addamo made the call.

On the {j-Hearts} turn, both players were content to tap the table.

The river brought the {k-Diamonds} and Addamo put out a bet of 17,000, leaving 55,500 behind. The Brazilian, who had 62,500 chips behind, would use his full 30 seconds before finally laying down his hand.

Meanwhile, over on the table next door, Nick Petrangelo felted Hiroshi Nishiyama after flopping an aces-over-threes full house and getting it all on the river. Petrangelo is now the chip leader, sitting on roughly 375,000 chips.
