Koop Loses Consecutive Pots Before Break

Level 32 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

In a limped pot to the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, Niko Koop and Mathieu Di Meglio checked their options from the blinds.

On the {j-Spades} turn, Koop check-called for 145,000. The {3-Hearts} completed the board and Koop check-called again, this time for 460,000, Di Meglio tabled his {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Koop muck.

The following hand, Koop opened to 250,000 from the button and Nenad Dukic called from the big blind. It was then Dukic's turn to go into check-call mode, which he did for 125,000 on the {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop.

The {8-Spades} turn checked through to the {2-Diamonds} river and Koop folded when Dukic led out for 200,000.

"Big bet for a small pot," he said as he gestured to the side pot that was brewing. "Four times pot, I cannot call. Two times pot I do," he added before folding.

Di Meglio had the nut flush with his {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} while Ullereng tabled his losing {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.
