Aces Cracked Again, Saout Scores the Double

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

Antoine Saout {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} opened in early position. He ran into a three-bet from Jerry Odeen {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} in the hijack to 72,000. In the cutoff, Pascal Lefrancois {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} four-bet to 165,000.

Back on Saout, he tanked for a while before ripping in his stack of 711,000. Odeen got out of the way, and Lefrancois snapped it off.

All in and at risk Saout was queen hunting, and he wasn't aware that Odeen already folded one. The flop showed up {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}, no help at all. The turn was the miracle {q-Diamonds}, catapulting Saout into the lead. The river was a {2-Hearts} to complete the unlikely double for Saout and take a big chunk off of Lefrancois.
