Steinbrenner Busts in Odd Hand

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Justin Steinbrenner was down to just 24,000 chips and pushed all in from early position. He was called by Steven Mulder on his left and Karol Bogusz in the small blind. Steinbrenner, unaware that there was still action on the side pot, tabled his cards with action still pending but quickly turned them back face down.

On the flop of {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Mulder checked out of turn which led to Bogusz throwing in a bet of 30,000 from the small blind. Mulder folded and then the final two hands were eventually tabled.

Justin Steinbrenner: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Karol Bogusz: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The {5-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Spades} on the river provided no help to Steinbrenner and he was sent to the payout desk.
