Level 25 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Yasuhiro Waki
Yasuhiro Waki

Yasuhiro Waki raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and Michael Sklenicka moved all in from the big blind. Waki quickly called off his entire stack of 395,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Yasuhiro Waki: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Michael Sklenicka: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to give Waki the lead with a pair of aces. As he did a lap around the room and shouted to the rafters, the {6-Diamonds} and {7-Diamonds} completed the board to secure his double-up.

Brandi Doubles Through Jung

Level 25 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Sebastien Jung
Sebastien Jung

The action folded to Sebastien Jung on the button who made it 50,000 to go. Iacopo Brandi shoved all in for 320,000 from the small blind and Jung gave it some thought before making the call.

Iacopo Brandi: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Sebastien Jung: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Brandi took a commanding lead with a set of sevens. The {10-Hearts} on the turn left Jung drawing dead to the {k-Diamonds} on the river as he passed over a double-up.

Level 25 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Hannes Jeschka

Hannes Jeschka jammed his last 185,000 and Robert Macsim called from the cutoff before Gerbo Szabo went all in for 435,000 from the small blind. Macsim called and action was three ways with Jeschka and Szabo at risk.

Hannes Jeschka: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Gerbo Szabo: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Robert Macsim: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Macsim made sixes and deuces to eliminate both players from the tournament.

A few moments later, Jeschka pulled the Platinum Pass and secured his entry into the 2023 PokerStars Players Championship in January.
